Who is [Artist Name]
I make afrobeats that keeps one foot in the club and one foot in the church. The drums come from Lagos — talking drum, shekere, a kick that hits like a door slamming. The melodies come from highlife guitar lines my [family member] used to play on a cassette deck in the car.
The [EP Title] EP is the first time I've put all of that in one place. It was recorded across [number] sessions in [City] and [City], with [collaborator name] on percussion and [collaborator name] engineering. Everything you hear is played — no sample packs, no loops off a shelf.
Live, the songs get longer. I bring a five-piece band, we stretch the intros, and the last track usually turns into something that isn't on the record at all. If you've seen it happen, you know.

06 questions
Things people ask before the show
Short answers to the messages that land in my inbox most often. If yours isn't here, the form at the bottom goes straight to me.
Where can I listen to the EP?
Everywhere you'd expect — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Bandcamp. The links are in the listen section above. Bandcamp is the one to use if you'd rather own the files outright; the money goes further there than it does on the streaming services.
Do you play with a live band or to a track?
Live band, five pieces: drums, bass, guitar, keys and percussion. Nothing is played off a backing track. The arrangements stretch out compared to the record — intros get longer, the last track usually turns into a jam that isn't on the EP at all.
How do I book you for a show or a festival?
Use the contact form and pick "Booking a show". Include the date, the city, the venue and the set length you have in mind — with those four things I can usually give you a yes or a no the same week. For anything more than a month out, the earlier the better: touring logistics take time.
Can I use your music in a video, podcast or film?
For personal, non-monetised videos — go ahead, just credit [Artist Name] and the track title in the description. For anything commercial, brand work, ads or a film release, send me the details through the form and we'll sort out a licence. Don't just upload it and hope.
Do you take features, remixes or production work?
Sometimes, yes. Send a link to the track and a short note about what you're hearing for it — a private link is fine, a finished demo is better. I read everything, but I only say yes to a handful a year, so don't take silence personally.
